Deborah Stratman: Speculative Terrains
On view through February 28, 2014.
A new exhibit at the Power Plant Gallery, Deborah Stratman: Speculative Terrains, examines both rural and urban landscapes through lenses of history, science, and mythology. The show features a range of work—photography, video, and installation—by the award-winning artist and filmmaker that explores how places, ideas, and the undercurrents of society are intertwined.
Stratman will be a visiting scholar with Duke’s MFA in Experimental and Documentary Arts program in early February, where she will provide feedback to current students’ work through individual studio visits and other events.
